Cleaning Up

Not that Thomas has anything to do with this--I just thought this was a cute pic of him! :)


Anyway, my uncle died a few years ago, and Mom and I have taken our time in getting his house packed up. My cousin came back a couple of weeks ago and took all that he wanted, and said Mom could have the rest to sell to make some money. In the midst of everything, my son in law had to put in a new furnace, and had to clean out the furnace room so he could work. He brought all the stuff downstairs, which was a benefit to us, but left a mess. I'm not complaining about this--it just goes with the territory. At the end of the month, there's a 100 Mile Yard Sale event, and we want to have things ready to sell by then. So Denny came over with Mom and me, and being the powerhouse he is, he got us organized and helped us. I couldn't have finished without him, I don't think. We got most of the work done on Wednesday, but had to come back on Sunday to finish up. I couldn't thank my husband enough for helping us!
