HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RYAN!

Well, this is a bit belated. Ryan's birthday was on August 9th! We didn't forget his birthday, tho. We all got together and went back to the river! We had a great time, as always. It was late in the afternoon when we got there, and it was so hot. The place was crowded! There's a pavillion there that you have to reserve, but no one was there, so we took it. We figured the worst that could happen, is that the rangers would tell us we had to move. But guess what? I got smart and read the rules on the huge sign right by the pavillion, and it said first come first served if it's not reserved! Who knew? Read the directions! lol So we set up. It was nice, because it made it so much easier to load and unload. We brought hot dogs, as we usually do, and some chips and pop and we were set. Denny burned some pretty mean hot dogs for us. Thanks, hon! :)

So we had a nice day just both the kids and their families and us, and played in the water. It was so hot and that water felt so good! I think we may try to squeeze one more trip in before it gets too cold!

So Happy Birthday, Ryan! I love you! :)
