I had decided I wanted to make a Halloween banner to go on the back of my bench. I don't decorate a lot for Halloween--just my bench, which I call "Ode to Fall"! lol I was going thru my digi kits from last year and came across a kit from
Raspberry Road (Susan Darter) called Hallows Eve. It was perfect--Susan had made a banner alphabet! I loved the colors--they were so vintage Halloween! So I got my Pazzles out, and with the help a new online friend, Lisa, I made scalloped banner pieces. Then I printed out the worded paper, as shown in the digi kit, glued them altogether, connected the pieces with ribbon and Voila!--my banner! I just love it!
Well, I decided to send Susan a pic of the banner, because it looked just like the banner alpha in her digi kit. She emailed me back, and told me she loved it, and invited me to be on her creative team, specializing in hybrid projects! I do projects--I can do this! :) I was nervous, as I always am when stepping out of my comfort zone. But decided to accept her invitation! So I'll be posting on her
Creative Team Blog from time to time, with actual projects I've made out her digi kits!
So check out the
Raspberry Road Designs site, and the
Creative Team Blog site for some neat kits and projects!
