What a Week!

I had a busy week this week. I've had Jacob since Sunday night. The girls' dad was in town, so they spent some time with him, and arrived here on their usual Monday evening. They went home last night. Whew! Now tonight I have Dakota, and will take her to Mommy and Daddy on Sunday afternoon. Ryan's birthday is coming up, so they're going with Audrey's sister and her husband to Six Flags for the weekend. I'm scared! I haven't watched a baby overnight in several years! I hope she doesn't keep me up all night, because I have crop tomorrow. I have to be awake and alert so I can have fun! lol I'll take her over to Mom's so she can watch her while I'm gone. Then I'll pick her up and bring her back home. Hope Denny rests up--I'm going to be needing him! lol

I have my second recipe page done! This one, of course has all the mistakes on it. Isn't that the way it always goes? Make 5 near perfect ones, and the last one gets messed up, so of course, that's the one you have to keep! lol I ran everything thru my Zyron, and somehow adhesive got stuck on my chipboard "t", so I tried covering it up. But I think I still have a bit of repair work to do! Same thing happened with my recipe file. Some adhesive got stuck to it, and I ended up about ripping it apart, so I had to rig it! Don't sweat the little things, right??? But anyway, I made Taco Soup, and it was delicious! You should have seen me. I got Denny's and Jacob's bowls ready and sent them on into the living room to eat. So then I staged my photo shoot! lol I got out my Fiestaware bowl and plate, and put in a matching spoon and starting shooting pics! I'd do a few, then run back to the computer to see how they were turning out, then run out and take some more pics. I finally got the one I wanted ! Then I went to my photo editer, and fixed it a bit, and voila! So I can say the pic I used is actually mine! lol So when I printed the recipe, I put it on a fold-up recipe card. I even did some doodling. It's fun, and just gives it a little extra something! lol
