Libby and the kids, and Ryan and Audrey went over to Libby's friends' for the firework display. Denny and I kept Dakota. It would have been too buggy for her. Plus, she's pretty jumpy in the first place, so I don't think she would have dealt well with the fireworks! lol So she was safe at home with Grammy and Papa. The older kids LOVED it! I guess there were fireworks there like you wouldn't believe. Libby said as big as the professional type! Her friend spent a small fortune on them--$700--and got them half priced at that! So could you imagine $1400 worth of fireworks??? One time Denny spent $40 on fireworks for Katie and Kelsea, and I thought that was too much! LOL But they all had a good time. Ryan and Audrey brought the kids back to our house, and we'll have them til maybe Fri. this week.
Now that the holiday is over, things are back to normal. Denny had his usual Wed. off, so we took the kids to the movie today and saw Superman. They all thought it was great, but I fell asleep! Shows what I thought of it! lol
